Classification of flue gas heat exchangers

Classification of flue gas heat exchangers

1、Flue gas heat exchanger can be divided into plate type and tube type.

1. Plate type exchanger is a kind of heat exchanger which has certain ripple on the surface and is composed of many metal sheets. This kind of heat exchange efficiency is high. Each metal plate of this kind of heat exchanger has a thin rectangular channel, through which heat is exchanged. Plate heat exchangers can be distinguished by structure. Heat exchangers used in power plants are mainly divided into two categories: ① removable plate heat exchangers ② welded plate heat exchangers.

2. Heat pipe heat exchanger, heat pipe heat exchanger can be divided into integral heat pipe heat exchanger and separated heat pipe heat exchanger in structure. The isothermal property of the integral heat pipe heat exchanger is more prominent than that of the separate heat pipe heat exchanger, so the low-temperature waste heat of the flue gas of the hot blast stove can be recovered.

2、 Advantages and disadvantages of flue gas heat exchanger

1. Advantages and disadvantages of flue gas heat exchanger: plate type flue gas heat exchanger is mostly made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel by processing and pressing through mold. The plates are welded together without sealing gasket, so it has stronger heat resistance. The flow form and flow channel area can be changed according to different process requirements. The smooth surface of the equipment also makes it difficult to scale.

2. Advantages and disadvantages of the heat pipe evaporator the isothermal property of the integral heat pipe heat exchanger is more prominent than the separated heat pipe heat exchanger, so the low-temperature waste heat of the flue gas of the hot blast stove can be recovered. On the other hand, the combustion supporting air and gas can be preheated, which makes use of its advantages of easy sealing and simple structure.
