Difference between plate heat exchanger and all-welded plate heat exchanger

Difference between plate heat exchanger and all-welded plate heat exchanger

1.Outward form

The most direct thing about the removable plate heat exchanger is that it can be removed. Generally, the four inlet and outlet positions are on the same side of the frame plate. The four openings of the fully welded plate heat exchanger are at the top, bottom, left and right of the side. Because the welding process is adopted, the frame itself cannot be opened

2.Internal parts

The interior of removable plate heat exchanger is composed of heat exchanger plates and rubber gaskets. Due to the limited degree of high pressure resistance, the thickness of plates is usually 0.5mm. In the all-welded heat exchanger, the sealing gasket is omitted. It is all welded by stainless steel plates, which are usually used for high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, so the thickness of the plates is 1mm.
